Opportunity Youth Intern Program and Apprenticeship Program
The New Orleans Habitat internship program changes lives by helping to provide better job opportunities to local youth. Through hands-on learning opportunities, they gain valuable experience on build sites, which better prepares them for their future careers. Each intern is offered a paid internship that includes 12 weeks of training and construction experience to learn needed skills. Interns can then advance to become apprentices for an additional 12 weeks of training, preparing them to enter the local construction workforce. New Orleans Habitat strives to hire interns reflective of the communities we serve.
