Jairus Hughes is a single independent 30 year old man born and raised in New Orleans. Jairus is the youngest of 6 kids and is a father of a beautiful 2 yr old son,Elijah that he works so hard to support and raise.The year Hurricane Katrina hit, Jairus graduated from Warren Easton Senior High School, although a rough start to adult hood, Jairus works downtown in the tourism industry that supports the growth and positive change of the cities rebuilding efforts. He applied to the habitat program to fulfill his dream to obtain a small piece of the city he loves, for himself. A portion of land and home for him to grow his family and pass down as a staring point to another generation one day.
