Pride Build
New Orleans Habitat will be hosting our third annual Pride Build, bringing together local members of the LGBTQ community and allies to help build a home for a local family – and celebrate New Orleans Habitat LGBTQ homeowners. Decades of systemic discrimination have barred LGBTQ families and individuals from homeownership. Through Pride Build, we hope to raise awareness of the need for affordable housing for all and its power to transform lives for the better.
All logos for shirts are due two weeks before your build date. All logos for banners are due one week before your build date.
Ways to Get Involved
You are invited to participate in our annual Pride Build through volunteering, sponsorship, and hospitality efforts. Whether you choose to swing a hammer, wield a paintbrush, recruit volunteers, or donate lunch and snacks, your support is valuable. This is an excellent opportunity to build relationships and strengthen professional networks, all while having a lasting impact on a Habitat Partner Family.
