My name is Rose LaFrance and I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. I have two wonderful and outstanding children. They are Monche LaFrance, who is 20 years old and Darren Towns, 30 years old. I also have 5 tremendous granddaughters and I am expecting number 6 . I am a supervisor in the Garment Department at a Starr Textile Services. I have been employed in the same company for the last 6 years. I can say that “I am blessed and thankful to finally becoming a homeowner, as this was one of my biggest dreams- Thank you Habitat for Humanity!” This program has taught me a lot of different things about homeownership that I did not know. My niece is a Habitat homeowner and she referred me to the organization. I am excited to build my new home and start this new chapter in my life.
