Habitat Success Stories

Delemenea Family

First, I want to start by saying Thank God for all he has done for me. My name is Kerria Delemenea. I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I graduated high school from L.E. Rabouin High. I then went on to graduate from Blue Cliff College where I was awarded a Dialysis Tech certification.

I have two children. My daughter’s name is Cameron and she is 11 years old. She attends Benjamin Franklin Elementary School and is in the Sixth Grade. My son’s name is Zyon and he is 2 years old. He will soon be entered in to an early learning program. My new home will allow my kids to pursue their dreams in a comfortable space to call their own.

I have always dreamed of becoming a home owner, in order to make a better life for myself and my children. I appreciate the opportunity that Habitat for Humanity has given my family and my hometown! It is an honor and a blessing to help contribute to the rebuilding of a community.
