Hi my name is Cesar Zelaya. I am 37 years old. I live in New Orleans, born and raised in Honduras. I have a lovely daughter Sophia. Sophi is 7 years old; she attends John Dibert Community School where she is in the first grade. She is a very smart girl. She is the best in her class of mathematics and helps other students to solve problems. She is a very active girl, she loves animals and enjoys going to the zoo and aquarium.
As for me I love spending time with my daughter having fun and making sure my child is happy. I work at Springhill Suites by Marriott. I have been employed with the hotel since June 2011. When I came to New Orleans I took English as a Second Language at Delgado Community College, now I am taking HVAC as a major. I feel so thankful to have a job and soon I will have a house to go on, thanks to New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity.
My dream is to become a homeowner, and I am truly blessed to be part of habitat’s homeownership program. I appreciate the opportunity to be a big partner. I would like to be a fervent volunteer after I finish with the program and help others make their dream come true. I would like to thank everyone for helping me and my daughter out. God bless you.
