My name is George Mack, Jr., and I was born and raised in New Orleans. So proud of being a native! I live by myself in a rental property in the West Bank, but home has always been the city. I retired from Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter a few years ago due to a physical disability. I love fishing, but my passion was always MECHANICS , which, due to my disability I can’t do it anymore.
One day I saw a commercial on TV about New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity, and wrote down the number. I called for information and made an appointment. In less than 2 months I qualified for a home.
I have been enjoying the staff at the Restore as I complete my sweat equity hours there. I can’t thank enough this organization for giving me the opportunity to become a home owner. I am also thankful for some of my relatives who are helping me complete my hours.
THANKS NOAHH ONCE AGAIN FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!
